Macau Adventure 8: The Rest

joni | June 30, 2010

Just like you (yes, I am addressing all you two readers of my blog), I’ve had enough of my Macau pictures. There are still quite a number of them but lazy me will just choose and upload the best ones (according to me, of course, as you two have no say on this whatsoever) to [...]

Weekly Gratefulness List (June 20 to 26, 2010)

joni | June 25, 2010

–Instead of a DLSU Press, the university now has the Academic Publications Office (APO) which partners with publishers for (what else?) the school’s publishing needs. 100 Years of La Sallian Presence in the Philippines…

joni | June 24, 2010

joni | June 19, 2010

I did not go to the actual graduation ceremonies (which is starting right about now…). Instead, I attended the recognition rites given by both the college and the university on June 16, 2010. Here are my pictures of the events:

Macau Adventure 5: Casa Museo, Macanese House

joni | June 18, 2010

Going to see the old Macanese houses in the Taipa area is one of the highlights of our trip for me. I love love love imagining living in those houses!

You know you should’ve graduated long ago when…

joni | June 17, 2010

…you don’t know any of the other graduates.
…you’re on first name basis with most of your profs.
…you’re on kumustahan basis with many of the secretaries, from different offices.
…you share fond memories of yesteryears with the gardener.

Macau Adventure 4: Ruins of St. Paul

joni | June 16, 2010

Almost by accident, Akoh and I found our way to the most important cultural landmark of Macau. We were just going to the Red Market to do some shopping and somehow stumbled into this church façade. Good for us!
