Review: L’Oreal Revitalift Intense Moisturizer

I recently participated in L’Oreal’s Revitalift Challenge and I must say that I am now a fan of L’Oreal’s Revitalift Intense Moisturizer.

The cream is quite thick, which made me feel that the formula is more concentrated than your usual moisturizer. I don’t mind the thick consistency on my moisturizers but I can imagine some may have a problem with that as it could feel greasy. For me it wasn’t too bad and it was probably why it worked so well in terms of hydrating. My only complaint is its overpowering scent. I could have forgotten about the thickness of the cream within a few minutes after application, but I could still smell my face which I didn’t like at all. If I could have the exact same moisturizer but unscented, that would be perfect.

I refuse to share my day 1 pictures because they’re just too ugly. Below are my day 7, and way beyond day 14 (I-literally-woke-up-like-this) pictures. My usually dry skin definitely feels more hydrated and supple. I’m not sure about reducing fine lines and wrinkles but the three-year-old pimple scar on my chin faded. (The one you’re seeing now is a new one. Just great, right?)
