There were actually three Macanese houses open for public viewing. The first one showcased what a traditional Macanese house would look like inside. The second had the photograph exhibit. This third one had exhibits of various aspects of the Portuguese heritage, not necessarily in Macau.

When we went to the museum houses, there was an exhibit of old photographs about the Macanese’s daily life. So what was I to do but to take pictures of the pictures.

Almost by accident, Akoh and I found our way to the most important cultural landmark of Macau. We were just going to the Red Market to do some shopping and somehow stumbled into this church façade. Good for us!

A few days after coming back from Shanghai, I packed my bags again and headed to Macau. This time, for a vacation with Akoh. It was to be one of my graduation gifts to myself. Macau was colder than I anticipated. Also, it was hard to understand the Macaunese’s Mandarin. Somehow we survived.
