Following Paul Stephen Lim’s lead, I had some of my writings analyzed by the website, “I Write Like.” Here are the results:

Just like you (yes, I am addressing all you two readers of my blog), I’ve had enough of my Macau pictures. There are still quite a number of them but lazy me will just choose and upload the best ones (according to me, of course, as you two have no say on this whatsoever) to [...]

Going to see the old Macanese houses in the Taipa area is one of the highlights of our trip for me. I love love love imagining living in those houses!

Almost by accident, Akoh and I found our way to the most important cultural landmark of Macau. We were just going to the Red Market to do some shopping and somehow stumbled into this church façade. Good for us!

Akoh and I were so envious of the public parks in Macau. On our first day, we aimlessly wandered into one and decided to snap some shots. We went back there to people-watch on our last day.

One of the things that struck us as soon as we got to Macau was the unmistakable presence of Pinoys everywhere. In fact, it would be our kababayans we would ask for directions whenever we got lost. Below are stores catering mainly to the increasing number of Pinoys in Macau, proof that the Pinoy market [...]

A few days after coming back from Shanghai, I packed my bags again and headed to Macau. This time, for a vacation with Akoh. It was to be one of my graduation gifts to myself. Macau was colder than I anticipated. Also, it was hard to understand the Macaunese’s Mandarin. Somehow we survived.
